Built in 1857, the home on this property has stood as a timeless witness to generations of families, each one leaving behind memories of hard work, love, and perseverance. In August 2013, the Hughes family took ownership of this historic treasure with a unique vision: to create a place where couples could exchange vows and begin their own “happily ever after.”

Through our dedication, teamwork, and a willingness to learn, we’ve poured our hearts into restoring this property ourselves, gaining invaluable lessons in construction, business, and God’s grace. Alongside our family—followers of Christ, loved ones, and dear friends—we’ve transformed this place into something special.

The property also features three other buildings: a quaint cabin, a rustic barn full of charm, and a newly built open pole barn, crafted by the men in our family and adorned with stunning stained glass windows created by our parents. During your first dance, the sunset will pour through these windows, creating many unforgettable moments. The house also offers a serene bridal suite for the bridal party and immediate family to prepare for the day’s events.

Picture this: a bride and groom standing together, exchanging vows on the steps of an altar, surrounded by family and friends seated on handcrafted wooden benches. The celebration continues under the enchanting glow of a 50x60 pole barn, lit by chandeliers, twinkling white lights, and rustic mason jar lanterns. Many couples have chosen to hold their ceremony inside the barn for its intimate ambiance, but should the weather be uncooperative, it will also provide shelter for the ceremony.
